AMAZINGLY informative and visually impactful.I am a local and went with my elderly father. For us both it was amazing. Great storytelling, informative and facts that we locals are very much aware of. However this is an amazing way to reflect and to appreciate the powers of the earth and remind us what makes our island so very special. The quality of the show, the real life videos, scores, voiceover, "earthquakes", the air etc. all exceptionally good! For everyone. and anyone from everywhere!

Wow — receiving feedback like this from a local means a great deal to us. 🌋❤️
One of our goals has always been to help people see Iceland's volcanic story with fresh eyes, whether they're visiting for the first time or have lived with these forces their whole lives. It's wonderful to hear that the experience resonated with both you and your father.
The real footage, storytelling, sound design, motion, and environmental effects are all there to capture the awe and power of the forces that continue to shape our island. Knowing that it inspired reflection as well as excitement is incredibly rewarding.
Thank you for such thoughtful words — and for reminding us why we do what we do. 🔥🌍

A fun tour. I would do it again.A very informative way to learn about the volcanos in and around Reykjavík. I liked the virtual tour and exploration. The exhibits were also very interesting and everything worked!
Reply from Volcano Express
That’s wonderful to hear! 🌋😊
We love that you highlighted the full experience — from the virtual journey through Iceland’s volcanic landscapes to the exhibits that help bring the science and stories behind them to life.
And as a bonus, we're especially happy to hear that everything was working as it should! 😄
If you'd do it again, that's about the best compliment we could ask for. Thanks for sharing your experience! 🔥🌍

It was very cool I’d definitely recommend it. It was like if you mixed Soarin’ in Walt Disney World Epcot and the A Bugs Life show at Walt Disney World Animal Kingdom. The safety demonstration says there is light turbulence which is crazy because it literally jiggled my organs but not in a bad way; the room just shakes you up. I definitely enjoyed it and would do it again. Though if you get motion sickness easily you’ll probably get sick 😅.
Reply from Volcano Express
That’s quite the review! 😄🌋
Comparisons to iconic Disney attractions are high praise, and we’re thrilled you had such a fun time. The volcanic turbulence can definitely be more than “a little” turbulence at times — Iceland doesn’t really do things by halves! 😅
We’re glad you embraced the adventure, enjoyed the ride, and left with all your organs still in the right place. Thanks for the recommendation, and for sharing such a memorable description of the experience! 🔥🌋

What a great experience seeing this show at the end of our trip! It brought back all the sights and moments we experienced around the island during our visit. The simulation with hot and cold air and the almost flying chairs gives you a great experience of what Iceland is like in just a few minutes. I definitely recommend it.

Superb 9 minute aerial movie with a little thrill ride adding to the experienceSuperb 9 minute aerial movie (that is totally authentic and not CGI) over Reykjavík and Iceland and its glaciers and volcanos. The “ride” part of it adds a little thrill to the experience, similar to the Soarin’ Over California ride at Disneyland.

Thank you for your fantastic review! We're delighted you enjoyed the experience.
We wanted guests to experience the real Iceland from a perspective that few ever get to see.
We're also pleased you enjoyed the ride element. The motion, wind, and sensory effects are designed to complement the film and create a thrilling feeling of flight, while still letting Iceland's natural beauty take centre stage.
Thank you for visiting, and we hope to welcome you back the next time you're in Iceland!
