TripadvisorSpectacular. It gets short.
Thank you for your kind words! We’re delighted the image quality and immersive effects made such a strong impression. When it feels short, it usually means you were fully engaged — and that’s the best compliment we can receive. We truly appreciate the recommendation 🌋✨ Warm regards, The Volcano Express Team
Read on Tripadvisor ↗TripadvisorFound this totally by accident. The building it is housed in changes colour (pretty amazing in itself) so we wrongly assumed this was the lava show. We were so wrong, but were pleasantly surprised. Whilst the experience itself does not last very long it is immersive. You are shown into a theatre where you strap yourself into the seats and then get jostled and shaken about as you are flown across Reykjavik and down into a volcano. You feel the warm air (it gets quite hot) as the volcano heats up. Won't give any more away but it is worth it and a lot of fun (especially as my feet didn't reach the floor)
We’re so glad you decided to give it a try — especially after that first surprise! Harpa does have a way of catching the eye, and we love hearing when a spontaneous discovery turns into a highlight. It’s great to know the immersive elements and sensory effects made such an impact, even if the experience is compact. That feeling of being right in the middle of the action (feet not quite reaching the floor included 😄) is exactly what we aim for. Thank you for the thoughtful and fun review — it truly means a lot 🌋✨ Warm regards, The Volcano Express Team
